For a while I have been looking for an easy solution to not only download single or multiple photos from my flickr or a friends photostream for a long while. Well I have found a excellent solution to this problem. The solution I am referring to; is a Adobe Air application called Bulkr. Now it should be prefaced, in order to run this application it requires the Adobe Air framework to be installed in order for this program to run. Both applications are a free download and are very minimal system requirements. If you visit Bulkr and install the application from the site; it will install both Adobe Air and Bulkr if you don’t have Adobe Air currently installed.

Some of my favorite features of Bulkr:

• Two (2) click backup and archival of your photostream.
• Download your or any user’s sets (albums)

• Write title, tags, description, geotag to EXIF(XMP)
• Preview images before download
• Auto resume download if connection breaks

But don’t just take my word for it, download it and see if it solves your need for backup and archival of your flickr photos. Also please comment and leave your feedback (whether you use Bulkr or some other solution).
